Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Madhavi Latha , Navneet Rana and President of the Tamil Nadu BJP K Annamalai addressed public gatherings in support of BJP candidates in the national Capital on Sunday.
While Dhami addressed public gatherings in support of New Delhi candidate Bansuri Swaraj, Chandni Chowk candidate Praveen Khandelwal, and West Delhi candidate Kamaljeet Sehrawat, the new emerging star of Tamil Nadu addressed a gathering of Tamil migrants in East Delhi’s Mayur Vihar and held a public meeting on West Delhi’s Khayala Road.
The Chief Minister said that the energy witnessed among the people in Delhi assures BJP's victory on all seven seats in Delhi. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has worked to elevate India to new heights. In the last 10 years, Mr. Narendra Modi has redefined development. Transforming Delhi's skyline with projects like the redevelopment of Pragati Maidan, construction of Bharat Mandapam, Eastern-Western Peripheral Road, U.B.R. 2 Road, Prime Minister's Museum, Kartavya Path, etc,” he said, adding that there is an Ghamandiya INDIA alliance in which the AAP, which entered politics by making Congress's corruption a ladder, has left Congress behind in corruption today.Attacking the AAP, he said, “There is no one whom Arvind Kejriwal has not deceived, so everyone knows Kejriwal's behaviour, and by establishing many landmarks of corruption in Delhi, Kejriwal is now talking about honesty.”
Further, Annamalai said that there is a long list of development works carried out by the Modi government in the last 10 years, which has not only changed the direction of India but also strengthened India's position in the world.”In the last 10 years, 11 crore toilets have been built in India. During the Congress government, there was the Indira Awas Yojana, but it was unclear who got the houses. However, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the PM Housing Scheme, we saw 4 crore poor people getting homes under it,” he said.
He said that today Congress talks about fundamental rights in the INDIA alliance, but it was the same Congress that murdered democracy in 1975.”The stronger the BJP becomes, the stronger and more fervent the ancient Sanatan Dharma will be,” Annamalai said.
