Chief Minister Mohan Yadav affirmed the state government's dedication to empowering women, describing the experience of walking alongside the women of the state as deeply fulfilling. He expressed that he would always cherish the affection his sisters showed him with their Rakhi ties. Yadav made these remarks while participating in the Ladli Behna programme held at the Krishi Upaj Mandi complex in Narsinghpur, which coincided with Raksha Bandhan and the Shravan festivals.

Chief Minister Yadav said that, as part of the state government's commitment to women's empowerment, Rs 1250 is being deposited monthly into the accounts of Ladli Behnas to support their families. This year on Raksha Bandhan, an additional Rs 250 will be given separately alongside the Ladli Behna Yojana funds. This bonus will benefit 1.29 crore women across the state. Yadav emphasized that Raksha Bandhan is a festival that surpasses all others in its significance, highlighting the unbreakable bond between brothers and sisters. He noted that the warmth and affection he experienced from the sisters in Narsinghpur today felt like celebrating all festivals in one day, underscoring the festival's deep connection to our Sanatan culture.

Chief Minister Yadav dedicated, performed bhoomi pujan, and laid the foundation of 12 construction works worth Rs 151.13 crore in the programme of Ladli Behnas organized at the Krishi Upaj Mandi in Narsinghpur. He also distributed benefits to the beneficiaries under various public welfare schemes. In the program, Ladli Behnas presented a big Rakhi to the Chief Minister and tied the Rakhi to his wrist. The Chief Minister planted a mango sapling in the open jail premises of Narsinghpur. Jail department personnel gave a guard of honor.

Chief Minister Yadav expressed that being born as a human is a profound blessing, and being born in India is even more so. He believes that his devotion to God has granted him the privilege of being born in Madhya Pradesh, with his spiritual journey leading him to the banks of the Narmada River. He highlighted that India's culture is rooted in the principle of "live and let live," embodied in the values of Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinaha and Sarve Santu Niramaya, which connect us deeply with nature. Yadav praised India's unique global identity, characterized by its harmony and the paramount importance of values. Drawing on Swami Vivekananda's address to Americans, he noted that our culture embodies a sense of equality. Unlike other places where law enforcement is necessary to maintain order, India relies on its intrinsic values to guide behavior, with police focusing on addressing wrongdoing rather than maintaining societal balance.

Chief Minister Yadav said that to enhance the education of the state's youth, PM Excellence Colleges have been established in every district, including Narsinghpur, as part of the new education policy. He highlighted that both the Central and State Governments are supporting farmers with a grant of Rs 6,000 each to help cover expenses for fertilizers, seeds, electricity, and water. Yadav assured that all types of scholarships will continue to support students in pursuing higher education. He also confirmed that all welfare schemes currently in place will remain active, with no program being discontinued. Additionally, the Seekho-Kamao scheme will offer youth opportunities for internships, providing valuable work experience.

Yadav said that like the bonus for wheat and paddy, now the milk-producing farmers will also be given a bonus. He said that whatever cost will be incurred for the upgradation of the Narsinghpur Krishi Upaj Mandi, will be approved. The Chief Minister also announced to give Rs 4 lakh each to the families of the people killed and Rs 1 lakh each to the injured due to house collapse following excessive rain in village Rampura of Saikheda development block of Gadarwara assembly of the district.

Panchayat and Rural Development and Labor Minister Shri Prahlad Singh Patel said that like the monsoon rains, the state should continue to receive the blessings of the head of the state for development. He also gave information about the development works. He extended best wishes and congratulated him on his arrival. School Education and Transport Minister Shri Uday Pratap Singh, MP Shri Chaudhary Darshan Singh also addressed the gathering. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited the exhibition organized by the departments of the district administration.
