SPS Ratibad celebrates its annual day

Sagarites of Sagar Public School Ratibad took the stage with awe-inspiring performances in their annual day celebration, themed 'Parivartan: The Transformation of the Human Mind'. Sagarites with an array of captivating acts, celebrated the journey of inner transformation and the power of positive change. The celebration was a testament to over 800 Sagarites portrayed creativity, talent, and the school's commitment to nurturing academic and cultural excellence.

Dr. Jagmeet Chawla, a renowned paediatrician, child counsellor, and co-founder of the Aadhaar Centre for Child Development, graced the evening as the Chief Guest and was accorded the guard of honour by the school band. A mesmerizing musical performance, a symphony of fusion, captured the spirit of change and unity earmarked the auspicious tone for the evening. Sagarites performed a compelling Hindi play Shankhnaad, depicting the story of Emperor Ashoka's transformation after the Kalinga war, offering a touching reminder of the human mind's evolution from childhood to adulthood. Young Sagarites delighted the audience with Twinkling Toes, a dance performance depicting the metamorphosis of a pupa into a 'Majestic' butterfly, symbolizing growth and self-discovery.

Sagarites transformed the stage with vibrant performances like Spring Fling, Summer Sizzle, Monsoon Majesty, and Frosty Frolics, celebrating the cyclical transformation of the seasons and their impact on human life and the environment. Sagarites demonstrated how physical movement through yoga, skating, and skipping can nurture mental growth and resilience in Transcendence: The Mind's Journey through Movements. The highlight of the annual day was an English play recounting the remarkable journey of Arunima Sinha, a mountaineer who overcame the loss of her leg to conquer the highest peaks.

Sagarites depicted her story 'Summit of Strength,' which resonated deeply with the audience, illustrating unwavering courage and the triumph of the human spirit. In the finale dance, Sagarites symbolized the unity of positive and negative forces, celebrating hope, faith, and the ultimate triumph of good over evil in Divine Awakening.
