Union Agriculture Minister and Jharkhand Election In-charge Shivraj Singh Chouhan participated in the meeting of detailed working committee and BJP core committee held in Ranchi, Jharkhand with Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday.
Addressing the meeting of the detailed working committee, Chouhan said that we have got an unprecedented victory in the country, but we have not lagged behind in Jharkhand as well. In Jharkhand, BJP has won 9 out of 14 seats and has hoisted the victory flag on 52 out of 81 assembly seats, this is a message that the people of Jharkhand love Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Chouhan said that JMM means Jharkhand Mitao Morcha. JMM means land mafia, murder mafia and mining mafia. Shri Chouhan said that there is looting all around in Jharkhand, corruption is at its peak. Mafias are protected by the Soren government. We had seen and heard earlier that milk and ghee were sold in buckets in the streets, but for the first time in Jharkhand, we saw that sand is also being sold in buckets. The prices of sand and bricks are skyrocketing. The poor have received the money from the Central Government for the houses to be built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, but due to the increased prices of sand and bricks, it has become difficult for them to build houses.
The Union Minister attacked the Hemant Soren government and said that Jharkhand tops in cases of kidnapping, rape and murder. He said, what has the alliance of Congress and JMM given to Jharkhand? What has Hemant Soren given? Only murders, rapes, kidnappings and serious crimes have been given. In the last 4 years, 7812 murders have taken place in Jharkhand, 7115 rapes have taken place, 6937 cases of kidnapping have taken place. There have been 8592 riots, 2721 robberies and 485 cases of dacoity in Jharkhand. He said, where was our dream to create a golden Jharkhand and where did JMM-Congress work to destroy and ruin Jharkhand.
Chouhan said, what did the people of Jharkhand get in the Hemant Soren government? The Soren government had made hundreds of promises by issuing its Nichay Patra in the assembly elections, but in four and a half years, the Soren government has not fulfilled a single promise. It has only lied to the public, cheated the youth, farmers and sisters. Soren government had promised 5 lakh jobs, but till date not even a single job has been given. Unemployment allowance of 5 thousand rupees was promised to graduates and 7 thousand rupees to post graduates, but no one has received unemployment allowance till date. Poor sisters were promised 2 thousand rupees for cooking expenses, but no sister has received the cooking expenses till now. This dishonest government has only insulted mothers and sisters. Bangladeshi infiltrators are playing openly in Jharkhand. They are marrying tribal women and grabbing their lands and Soren government is sitting blind in hunger for its vote bank.
Chouhan said that, on one hand the dishonest government of JMM Congress alliance left no stone unturned in ruining Jharkhand, on the other hand the NDA government have given a lot to Jharkhand. Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave Jharkhand 10 thousand 625 crores for National Highways. 27 thousand 459 crores for railways, 35 lakh 27 thousand 135 gas connections under Ujjwala Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, Kisan Samman Nidhi, Jan Dhan accounts, Garib Kalyan Yojana, he has done the pious work of giving free ration to 2 crore 70 lakh brothers and sisters. If anyone has worked for the development of Jharkhand, it is Shriman Modi Ji and Bharatiya Janata Party.
