A 48-year-old scrap dealer attempted suicide poisonous substance and a note alleging harassment by SHO Shahpura and his staff at the police station was found in his pocket.
A scrap dealer identified as Rajkumar Duware tried to commit suicide by consuming poisonous substance. A note was found in his pocket.
It was mnetioned, 'TI sahab and his close policeman forcibly extorted Rs 40000. A case was also registered. They will be responsible for my death.' However, Rajkumar's condition is out of danger.
Rajkumar Duware , a resident of village Amari, is a scrap dealer in Shakti Nagar. His son Akash Duware (22) is an MBA student. Akash said, 'I was at the shop on the morning of August 14. Shahpura police station police came at around 9 am.
Two policemen who came on a bike took him and told that the snake around the neck of a statue kept in a temple has been stolen. They have bought this stolen snake. Then he told them that his father runs the shop. He has no information about the incident.
After making Akash sit in the police station, the police called his father and asked him to come to the police station. They threatened that their son will be sent to jail. This will ruin his future.
Akash alleged that Rs 40000 were demanded from his father in exchange for saving him. The scared father gave the money to the policeman. The policeman told him to put the money in the all-out box kept in the police station. As soon as my father put the money in the box, the policeman took the box and left. After some time, they released him.
Akash told that on the evening of August 14, police brought his father to the government Bolero shop. Before this, a call came from his father's number. He asked to turn off the CCTV installed in the shop. After this, police came to the shop and video graphed the search. They returned with his father. Later, action was taken against him on the charge of buying stolen goods. He was released on bail from the police station.
On August 16, Rajkumar reached home at around 6.30 pm. After a while, he suddenly fell unconscious on the sofa. His family members took him to a private hospital in Baghsewania. On checking his pockets in the hospital, a slip was found. In it, he wrote that 'TI sahab and his close policeman forcibly collected 40 thousand rupees. A case was also registered. They will be responsible for my death.'

Shahpura police station TI Raghunath Singh said that Rajkumar was exerting pressure even during custody to avoid action. A snake stolen from a temple has been recovered from his shop.
Action has been taken against him under section 411. Rajkumar had also revealed that he had sold the stolen goods to Raghunath. Many cases have been registered against Rajkumar in the past also for purchasing stolen goods.
