Sarma terms Hemant Govt schemes as anti-people policies

Wednesday, 17 July 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

Assam Chief Minister and BJP Jharkhand Assembly election co-incharge Himanta Biswa Sarma on his two day visit to Jharkhand addressed workers' felicitation and Vijay Sankalp Sabha at Torpa and Khunti assembly constituencies. On this occasion, state general secretary and MP Aditya Sahu, MLA Neelkanth Singh Munda, Koche Munda, district incharge Satyanarayan Singh along with district officials and workers were present.

Sarma said that the workers of Jharkhand have made a big contribution in forming the Modi government for the third time. NDA has won 9 out of 14 Lok Sabha seats. Therefore, the workers deserve respect.

He said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s mathematics is weak, he is describing 99 seats as if he got 100 out of 100. He is happy to get 99 out of 543 and is preaching to BJP which won 240.

He said that the Modi government has been formed for the third time due to the blessings of the people and hard work of the workers. After Pandit Nehru, no Prime Minister of India has been elected for the third consecutive time.

He said that Northeast India, which includes states like Assam, Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha, has contributed a lot in forming the Modi government for the third time. The sun rises from the east. Therefore, after the assembly elections, there will be a new dawn in Jharkhand too.

He took a big dig at the Hemant government and exposed the failures of the state government and the anti-people policy of the alliance.

He said that Hemant Soren did not go to jail in any freedom movement but went on serious charges of corruption and today he has come out on bail.

He said that this is a government surrounded by brokers and middlemen. As soon as he came out of jail, Champai Soren was removed under their pressure. He said that Hemant Soren pretends to be a tribal but he is not a leader of the tribals but his own leader. He is not concerned about the welfare of any other tribal.

He said that Hemant ji forgot all the promises made to the public. Instead of 5 lakh jobs per year, they could not give even one lakh. Nor did they give unemployment allowance.

He said that assistant police personnel are sitting on dharna, para teachers are protesting, farmers have not received their dues.

He said that law and order is in shambles, incidents of rape of sisters and daughters are happening every day. He said that corruption has reached its peak. Crores of rupees were found from the house of former minister Alamgir Alam, the leader of the infiltrators, 300 crores in cash were found at the house of a Congress MP.

He said that this money is looted money. It is the money of the tribal natives of Jharkhand. If this money was in the treasury, they would have received unemployment allowance. Farmers' loans would have been waived off.
