Rewa, Satna, Datia districts face inclement weather

The weather remained abrupt in Madhya Pradesh on Sunday also, it rained with strong winds in many districts including Rewa, Satna, Chitrakoot and Datia. Hail storm was also witnessed in many areas.

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of cloudy sky and thunder in 20 districts including Gwalior and Rewa.

After 2 days on March 5, a new Western Disturbance is becoming active. Due to this, it may rain again in many districts of the state.

The weather suddenly changed in Datia on Sunday morning. It started raining with strong winds. During this period hail stones were witnessed for about 10 minutes.

The weather changed in Rewa on Sunday afternoon and it started raining heavily.

In Chitrakoot of Satna also, hailstorm fell along with heavy rain on Sunday.

Crops were damaged due to a hailstorm in Guna on Saturday. After which the farmers blocked the road demanding compensation. After which the administration officials reached the spot and told the farmers that the survey has been started from today itself.

CM gave survey instructions to district collectors. CM Dr. Mohan Yadav has given instructions for a survey regarding the damage caused to crops due to rain and hailstorm in many districts of MP. He has asked the district collectors to conduct a survey of damaged crops immediately.

More than 10 peacocks died due to rain and hailstorm in Chhatarpur on Sunday. The villagers gave it to Rajnagar police station and Lavkushnagar forest department. After this the administrative team reached the spot. Farmer Brijendra Singh Yadav said that more than a dozen peacocks were found lying dead in the field.

According to the Meteorological Department, Bhopal, at present the Western Disturbance is active in the form of a cyclonic circulation in and around Afghanistan. There is a trough line in the troposphere from this cyclonic circulation to the North Arabian Sea. The induced cyclonic circulation is active over North Pakistan and Punjab. Due to this, moisture is coming from the Arabian Sea along with south-westerly winds.

Thunderstorm conditions will prevail in Morena, Gwalior, Bhind, Datia, Tikamgarh, Sagar, Damoh, Chhatarpur, Panna, Satna, Katni, Maihar, Umaria, Dindori, Anuppur, Shahdol, Sidhi, Singrauli, Mauganj and Rewa.
