Regional Industrial Conclave to foster growth in local industry

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has affirmed the state government's commitment to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of transforming India into a developed country by 2047. To prioritize investment promotion, the state will celebrate 2025 as an Industry Year. The upcoming Regional Industrial Conclave in Jabalpur aims to enhance entrepreneurship's role in the state and national economy by addressing local industry challenges and fostering growth. This event will stimulate industrial activities in Jabalpur and nearby districts. The government is dedicated to ensure equal development across the entire state by connecting external and local entrepreneurs. Employment-oriented activities, tailored to local conditions, will be especially encouraged in agriculture, trade, tourism, and sectors.  Yadav was communicating with officials and industrialists from Jabalpur, Katni, Mandla, Dindori, and Narsinghpur at Samatva Bhavan through video confrence.

Abundant Opportunities in Furniture Clusters, Food Processing Industries, and Mining & Mineral Processing

Chief Minister Yadav emphasized the importance of providing comprehensive skill training to youth in addition to state's mineral wealth and natural resources. He highlighted plans to improve their linkage to trade and business, ensuring maximum benefit for local communities. In Jabalpur district alone, over 640 hectares host 5 developed industrial areas and one under development, housing 514 MSME units. The recently established IT Park offers significant employment opportunities, complementing prospects in furniture clusters, new garment clusters, food processing industries, mining, mineral processing, and pharmaceutical units. The Regional Industry Conclave aims to showcase tangible industrial progress to local residents, fostering ongoing development. Invitations have been extended to industrialists nationwide to invest in the region, with similar conclaves planned for Sagar, Gwalior, and Rewa.

In the virtual dialogue with Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, Ravi Gupta, President of Mahakaushal Chamber of Commerce from Jabalpur, Himanshu Khare, Senior Vice Secretary of Federation of MP Chamber of Commerce and Industries, VK Nema, President of Laghu Udyog Bharati, BR Jaiswani, President of Mahakaushal Udyog Sangh, Sudhir Kumar Mishra of MP Small Industries Association from Katni, Arvind Guglia, President of Madhya Pradesh Refractories Association, Anil Virani, President of Rice Mill Association from Mandla, Sajal Agarwal from Narsinghpur and Ramesh Rajpal from Dindori expressed their views. Other industrialists and businessmen of Mahakaushal region also participated in the video conferencing.
