Rural Development, Rural Works and Panchayati Raj Minister Irfan Ansari held a high-level meeting with the departmental officers with an active and visionary approach. He directed to work at a fast pace on the related schemes to provide direct benefits of the schemes to the villagers.
Minister Irfan Ansari said that you have an important role in accelerating the pace of development. In such a situation, the department should take special care that the schemes are completed within the stipulated time frame. He said that the Chief Minister has directed that the benefits of the government schemes should reach the person standing at the last rung of the society. Therefore, our top priority should be that people get the benefits of the schemes on time.
Ansari, while reviewing the Abua Housing Scheme, said that the beneficiaries of this scheme are poor and needy. In such a situation, take initiative to provide them with construction material like sand for housing construction at the minimum rate. He took information about the progress of housing construction after the release of 2 lakh houses approved in the first phase under the Abua Housing Scheme and the amount of its first installment and directed to speed it up. He said that there should be complete transparency in the selection process of the beneficiaries.
The Minister directed that under Birsa Harit Gram Yojana, along with planting of saplings, complete arrangements for their maintenance and conservation. Under Birsa Irrigation Well Promotion Scheme, complete the construction of one lakh wells by the first of November this year. Under Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana, complete the construction of incomplete and pending houses as soon as possible. Mobilize Sakhi Mandals associated with JSLPS and the women associated with it.
While reviewing the Panchayati Raj Department, Minister Irfan Ansari directed that basic facilities should be provided in all the Panchayat Secretariats of the state. Ensure that electricity, internet, solar panel, computer set and Pragya Kendra are established. All the Panchayats of the state should have their own Panchayat Bhawan. Also ensure that there is an access road to all the Panchayat Secretariats. Ensure that all the Panchayat Secretariats are fully functional. There should be 100% expenditure of the amount of the 15th Finance Commission, for this, complete the operation of all the schemes under the 15th Finance Commission on time. Speed up the work being done under the 15th Finance Commission.

Srinivasan, MGNREGA Commissioner Rajeshwari B, CEO JSLPS Sandeep Singh, Additional Secretary Shailprabha Kujur, Joint Secretary Awadh Prasad, Arun Kumar Singh, Pramod Kumar and other senior officials were present in the meeting.
