The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) conducted the fourth Zonal Round of the RBI90 Quiz at Hotel Marriott, Indore, as part of its ongoing celebrations commemorating 90 years of the institution.
The quiz, designed for undergraduate students across the nation, aims to promote financial literacy and awareness among the youth.Participants from Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan competed in the zonal round with great enthusiasm. The winning team from Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, Maharashtra, comprising Priyanshu Mahar and Uday Tej Singh, secured their place in the National Round of the RBI90 Quiz.
The national finals will be held on December 6, 2024, in Mumbai, where they will compete against teams from other zones.
The second and third places were bagged by Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar and BITS Pilani – K K Birla, Goa, respectively. The top three teams received cash prizes of ?5 lakh, ?4 lakh, and ?3 lakh.Speaking at the event, Shri Ajay Kumar, Executive Director of RBI, emphasized the importance of financial literacy among young people.
