Panic prevailed in Idgah Hills area after a youth accused of rape was murdered by the rape victim's brother on Thursday, the accused stopped deceased and was stabbed along with his friend.
The matter is of Idgah Hills located in Shahjahanabad area. Both the accused are absconding after the incident.
According to the information, a 20-year-old youth resident of Goyal Dham, Bhopal had left home for work. He used to work as a laborer in Idgah Hills, Sanjay Nagar.
On the way he met Sonu, who lived in the locality. Both of them attacked him with knives. He was stabbed 5 times on his back and waist. Then escaped the spot away and when he was taken to Hamidia Hospital where he died during treatment.
Sub Inspector Pawan Sen said that the deceased Sonu had an old acquaintance with the sister of the accused. The girl had filed a case of atrocities against Sonu about one and a half years ago. For this reason there was enmity between the two.
Ghanshyam Raikwar, uncle of deceased Sonu, told that his nephew was the only son of the family. Used to work as a labourer. He is having an affair with the sister of the accused. For this reason, he along with his friend murdered him.
The sister of the accused said that Sonu used to harass her and used to say he could do anything. He kept harassing me. Once he even put a knife on her throat. She didn't know anything about this incident and didn't see anything.
After the sensational murder in broad daylight, the police have started searching for the accused. Two teams of the police station are raiding their possible hideouts. In the past the accused has been booked by the police.
