Devotees are flocking different pandals and Ramlilas across the city with people rejoicing in the festival that celebrates the divine feminine energy and preaches good over evil.
At Madhavdas Park, within the historic Red Fort grounds, the Shri Dharmik Leela Committee is set to host a major event featuring a dramatic reenactment of the legendary Ram-Ravan battle with the presence of both the President and the Prime Minister expected, underscoring the event's national significance. The celebration will also feature the cast of 'Singham Again' participating in the much-anticipated Ravana Dahan at the renowned Luv Kush Ramlila.
The Ramlila will feature prominent Bollywood stars, including Kareena Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, and Rohit Shetty, from the cast of 'Singham Again,' blending traditional drama with contemporary celebrity appeal. BJP President Virendra Sachdeva will also be in attendance, adding to the political significance of the festivities.
In Dwarka, the Sri Ram Lila Society has created a striking 120-foot effigy of Ravana, inspired by the ancient Ram Mandir temple in Ayodhya. The entrance gates, designed in the South Indian "Gopuram" style, aim to offer attendees a rich cultural experience.
The Luv Kush Ramlila Committee has also constructed a 120-foot-tall Ravana effigy, a project that took two months and involved 18 skilled artisans from Uttar Pradesh and the Delhi-NCR region. Additionally, they have crafted a 100-foot effigy of Meghnaad and a 110-foot effigy of Kumbhkaran, promising a visual spectacle for the audience.

At Ramlila Maidan, known for its grand effigies and deep-rooted history in Dussehra festivities, the Delhi Ramlila Committee will organize various performances and rituals. Lal Qila Maidan in Old Delhi will also continue its tradition of elaborate celebrations with massive effigies.
