Public grievance solution program of Jharkhand Police will start again from December 18. Regarding this, DGP Anurag Gupta has issued orders to the SP, SSP of the district.

It has been said in the issued order that the Public Grievance Solution Program was organized in all the districts for quick and effective redressal of the complaints of common citizens. In this regard, the Public Grievance Solution Program will be organized again in all the districts on December 18 at the previously organized place.

Earlier, on the instructions of Gupta, this program was started from September 10.

Police will listen to the problems of common people on 8 issues which include getting information about missing children from the area and registering cases, getting information about the safety of women and students in various institutions operating in the area, informing the general public about the Victim Compensation Scheme, giving information about the new criminal law and Zero FIR, informing the general public about Dial 112 and informing the general public about registering a complaint by calling 1930 in case of cyber fraud.

Apart from this, the work of the police will be to complete the investigation of incidents for the citizens of the weaker sections and get information about such possible incidents, get information about the crimes happening in the area, information about criminals, cyber crime incidents and chit-funds, institutions that illegally receive deposits from citizens, get information about social issues in the area, which may affect the law and order in future and get information about the behavior of the police station and related personnel, home guards and watchmen with the citizens and their response to complaints.

The police of the state will try to solve the problems of the common people in areas where human trafficking takes place, especially to get information about the victims of human trafficking and about the criminals involved in human trafficking, in areas where crimes related to witch-hunting take place, especially to provide necessary help to the victims of crimes related to witch-hunting and take action against the guilty persons, will get information about areas where opium is cultivated, will get information about areas where brown sugar is being consumed and will gather information about the persons involved in it and will try to identify areas (especially urban areas) where loitering takes place at night and will get information about who is doing it and how to stop it.

DSP or officers of the level above him will also pay special attention to those complaints where the investigator has done wrong investigation to implicate an innocent person and save a guilty person. In such cases, we will ensure that reinvestigation is done and justice is delivered later and security measures like installation of CCTV cameras, formation of Citizen Security Committee etc will be taken in the concerned area.
