The Congress party has appointed Poreyahat MLA Pradeep Yadav as the leader of its legislature party in Jharkhand. The announcement was made official after Congress State President Keshav Mahato Kamlesh submitted Yadav’s name in a sealed letter to Assembly Speaker Rabindranath Mahto.
Along with Pradeep Yadav’s selection, Khijri MLA Rajesh Kacchap has been named the deputy leader of the Congress Legislature Party. Rajesh Kacchap, a second-term legislator, is recognized for his growing influence within the party.
In addition, Bermo MLA Anoop Singh, also known as Jayamangal Singh, has been appointed as the party’s chief whip in the assembly. Anoop Singh holds significant experience and is expected to play a crucial role in managing party discipline during legislative proceedings.
Pradeep Yadav, a six-time MLA, brings vast political experience and leadership skills to his new role. His appointment reflects the party’s strategy to strengthen its leadership and presence in Jharkhand.
The Congress leadership aims to streamline coordination among its legislators and improve performance in the assembly. The newly appointed leaders are tasked with addressing organizational challenges and preparing for upcoming political challenges in the state.
Later, Yadav addressing in the House said that the opposition BJP main aim to create disturbance in the State by breaking the social fabric of State. He also targeted the BJP for raising the Bangladeshi issue in State claiming that the move created rift among Hindus and Muslim in State.
He also accused the BJP of employing Central agencies such as ED, CBI and IT against the elected JMM/Congress government saying that despite all the efforts of BJP it was Hemant Soren who defeated all the nefarious agendas of BJP.
JMM MLA Kalpana Soren said that this is a government of our own people. The Abhu government is dedicated to Jharkhand. There is willpower in the speech, which will bring prosperity. Every word will be implemented on the ground. The Mahagathbandhan has got the mandate. Revolutionary schemes will directly benefit. The central schemes do not worry about the poor of the state. The farmers' loans have been waived off. JMM has had its own identity in Jharkhand. This state is the product of JMM. This mandate was given by the tribals and natives.
JLKM MLA Jairam Mahato said that the martyrs should be respected. The agitating families should get five percent reservation. The vacant land given to the industries should be taken back. He said that one lakh 36 thousand crores should be recovered. But the five lakh 55 thousand 17 thousand crores in all the banks of the state which has been given to other states. It should be brought to our state and the problems should be solved. The CD ratio of Jharkhand is 36 percent, while that of Andhra Pradesh is 110 percent and that of Tamil Nadu is 115 percent.
