A political war of words has intensified between Chief Minister Hemant Soren and state main opposition party BJP over the Gogo Didi Yojana, an initiative by the BJP ahead of the Assembly election.
The BJP’s state president, Babulal Marandi, has reacted strongly to a recent post on X by the Chief Minister on social media, in which Soren directed the deputy commissioners of all districts to file FIRs against individuals involved in the Gogo Didi Yojana. Soren argued that the scheme violates the Model Code of Conduct ahead of the state elections.
Marandi said that the Chief Minister is in panic due to the increasing trend and support of the public towards BJP. It seems that he lacks constitutional knowledge. He is surrounded by wrong advisors.
Marandi said that under the Panch Pran, the Bharatiya Janata Party is taking concrete steps towards empowering women economically and socially through the Gogo Didi scheme. Under this scheme, Rs 2100 per month will be sent to the bank accounts of women immediately after the formation of the government. For this, BJP workers are actively getting the forms filled, so that women can get the benefit of their rights and empowerment.
He said that the Hemant Soren government is making every effort to disrupt this public welfare scheme. BJP workers are being implicated in false cases and harassed in various ways, so that they back off from their mission.
He said that I want to warn Chief Minister Hemant Soren once again that no matter how many false cases you file, we BJP workers are not going to be afraid of these oppressive tactics and your threats. You have filed many cases earlier also, but we have not backed down and will not back down either.
He appealed to all the workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party to take the work of filling the forms of Gogo Didi Yojana to every household. Do this important work with full devotion and dedication for the empowerment and upliftment of the women of the state. Your hard work will empower the women of the state and their future will be bright. I want to assure all the workers that I myself, along with you, will go among my mothers and sisters and get them to fill the Gogo Didi Yojana form for their development and progress.

BJP will implement NRC in State: Chouhan
Union Minister and BJP’s Jharkhand election in-charge, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, criticized the Hemant Soren government today, accusing it of enabling an increase in Bangladeshi infiltration.
Chouhan stated that under the state’s protection, Bangladeshi infiltrators are growing in numbers, particularly in the Santhal Pargana region, causing significant demographic changes. He noted that the tribal population has decreased from 44% to 28%, and this infiltration is affecting both tribal and general populations.
Tribal population has decreased from 44% to 28%. Apart from this, the general population has also been affected. Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that BJP's detailed manifesto will be released. As soon as the NDA government is formed in Jharkhand, it will identify infiltrators by implementing NRC. It will selectively expel them from the country.
