People have voted for change of Govt in State: Marandi

Thursday, 21 November 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

State President of Bharatiya Janata Party and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi addressed a press conference on 20 November at the state office in Harmu. On this occasion, he said that the Jharkhand assembly elections have been completed, for this I express my gratitude to the voters of the state. The public played their role well in strengthening democracy in the elections. People participated enthusiastically in the elections. People have voted in large numbers for a strong government and a developed Jharkhand.

Marandi said that many national leaders of BJP campaigned in favour of BJP and NDA candidates. Prime Minister Narendra Modi held 6 huge meetings. He did a road show. If the Prime Minister of the country is giving so much time to a small state like Jharkhand, then it shows his love and relationship with the people of Jharkhand and strengthening democracy. Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President JP Nadda, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and many other leaders held meetings in Jharkhand.

Election in-charge of Jharkhand and Agriculture Minister of Government of India Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma and state in-charge Dr. Laxmikant Vajpayee also held several meetings. The workers of Jharkhand also worked hard with the leaders.

He said that I definitely congratulate the administration, but the repeated complaints from the place where the Chief Minister of the state is contesting the election, it seems that the Chief Minister is scared and frightened. The result of Barhet will be shocking. People will be stunned.

The popularity of the current Chief Minister in Barhet has decreased a lot. This can be gauged from the fact that his previous in-charge was in jail. There is a case of fraud of thousands of crores of rupees against him. Illegal mining has been done there. Such people are roaming there and distributing money on the day of elections. They are threatening people. They are roaming around with guards carrying AK-47 rifles, whereas on the day of elections, people from outside the area cannot roam there. This is completely prohibited. Everyone knows. She kept saying this again and again from there. Complaints were also made to the Election Commission from the legal cell. Along with that, it was surprising that he got the names of many people deleted. All those names were Hindu names. When many people protested, then a form was given to the people that you can fill in and vote. There was a complaint about it here too. This is the condition from where the Chief Minister is contesting the election. There should have been a fair election there. There should have been the cleanest election. There should not have been any kind of complaint. Hemant Soren must have done a lot of work in Barhet too. He should not have campaigned there, but his people were roaming around with rifles and distributing money.

The state president said that Pankaj Mishra has put his name in two places. His name is also in Rajmahal and Barhet assembly. At one place, the father's name is different. This is a matter of investigation. A complaint has been made to the Election Commission about this. This is corrupt conduct.

State media in-charge Shiv Pujan Pathak, co-in-charge Tariq Imran and Sudhir Srivastava of the legal cell were also present in the press conference.
