Orchha added to World Heritage list

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has expressed great happiness over UNESCO’s decision to include Orchha, the city of Raja Ram, in the World Heritage List. He remarked that this recognition is a source of immense joy and pride, amplifying Madhya Pradesh’s cultural heritage on the global stage. With Orchha set to become the state's latest 'World Heritage' site, the echoes of Madhya Pradesh’s rich legacy will now be heard worldwide. Following UNESCO’s official announcement, Orchha will proudly join the list of World Heritage cities.

Yadav has conveyed his gratitude to UNESCO officials for selecting Orchha as a World Heritage Site and congratulated the Central Government’s Culture, Tourism, and Archaeology Department.
