Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that one village will be selected from each development blocks of the state and developed as Barsana village. These villages will help spread ideals and principles of Lord Krishna. In Barsana village, where on the one hand, ancient culture will blossom; on the other hand, organic farming and milk production will be promoted. These villages will have new dimension of development. A community based on the ideals and principles of Lord Shri Krishna will be created. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Geeta Bhawan centers will also be established in every urban body.
Yadav was addressing the country’s first one of it’s kind program, the theme of ‘Har Balak Krishna-Har Maa Yashoda’ on Shri Krishna Janmashtami Mahotsav in Indore today. In this religious and historical program, Yadav greeted the Bal-Gopals and Yashoda Matas by showering flowers.
More than 5 thousand children were present in the form of Bal-Gopal and an equal number of mothers in the form of Mata Yashoda. The venue of the event was completely drenched in a supernatural aura. It was tastefully decorated with paintings depicting various leelas of Lord Krishna. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav shared loving moments with the tiny Bal-Gopals. Chief Minister also fed Makhan-Mishri to the Bal-Gopals as Prasad and distributed Krishna Janmashtami gifts.
The Chief Minister narrated stories about the life of Lord Shri Krishna] events and incidents related to him. He said that we should learn and imbibe his ideals and principles in life. Lord Shri Krishna is the epitome of humility patience, compassion and love. He is also symbol of the protection of mankind. Sri Krishna’s Leelas or divine acts were for the welfare of mankind and formed the basis of religion. He taught us to love nature.
Chief Minister Yadav said that to spread the ideals and principles of Sri Krishna, we have decided to select one village from each development block and develop it as ‘Barsana’ village. Besides, Geeta Bhawan centers will also be established in urban areas. He called upon people to spend their lives on the concept of “Har Balak Krishna – Har Mata Yashoda”. Mata Yashoda is an epitome of love. He said that the state government has decided to celebrate every festival throughout the state with joy and enthusiasm. Every section of society should celebrate all festivals joyously and enthusiastically.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav sang ‘Govinda Aala-Re-Aala, Zara Matki Sambhal Brijbala’ in the program while those present joined him. Famous flute player Ballu ji and the Madhvas Band performance added grace to the program. The Chief Minister along with the Bal-Gopalas and Yashoda Matas made the entire venue resound with the cheers of ‘Hathi Ghoda Palki-Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki’.
Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silawat, MP Shankar Lalwani, Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava, MLA Usha Thakur, Malini Gaur, Mahendra Hardiya, Manoj Patel, Golu Shukla and Madhu Verma, Chairman of Scheduled Caste Finance Development Corporation Sawan Sonkar, former MLA Gopi Nema, Sudarshan Gupta, Sanjay Shukla, Gaurav Ranadive, officials and large number of devotees were present.
