Minister Ramnivas Rawat attends Shivpuri College alumni meet

The students of the batch of 1972 to 1980 in Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Government Post Graduate College and Priyadarshini Indira Gandhi Girls College and are gradually working in the interest of the country and society by holding senior positions.

All the alumni have met each other in this function after almost forty years. While studying at Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Government College, Shivpuri, Ramnivas Rawat, the current Minister of Environment and Forest Ministry of the state and who entered politics by becoming the President of the college  also participated in this program.

On this occasion, Rawat had a deep discussion on "Global Warming" with all his college classmates. Opinions were taken from all the classmates on how to reduce this global warming. At the end of the speech, Minister Ramnivas Rawat appealed to all his colleagues to plant trees in their surroundings and also protest against illegal cutting of trees.

During the address, Shri Rawat also said that now we have reached such a stage of age that we must worry about our future as well as that of our children. Not only keep striving for greenery yourself but also keep thinking about global warming with your children and inspire them to plant trees to improve the environment. Cabinet Minister Ramnivas Rawat also obtained B.Sc degree from the same college in Shivpuri.

Pradeep Mishra, who was the PRO of the Municipality in Narmadapuram, was also a classmate of Rawat in college at that time and had studied together and obtained a degree.

In this program organized in the college, all the classmates were seen hugging each other and expressing gratitude to each other for coming to the program. All the teachers who taught the minister during his education and who are present at this time were also honored.

Former Chief Minister Kamal Nath’s OSD Praveen Kakkar and Malaria Officer Akhilesh Dubey from Bhopal were also present in the programme. This program was organized by the city's renowned businessman Ramkumar Shivhare, his son Tarun Shivhare and nephew Kushal Shivhare.
