While touring for lake conservation, the mayor saw a person throwing a sack full of garbage in Lower Lake. After this, she stopped the car and reprimanded the person. The person also held his ears and said that now he will never throw garbage in the pond or any other water source.

Mayor Malti Rai, Corporation Commissioner Harendra Narayan and MIC member Ravindra Yati engaged in cleanliness campaign.

Under the 'Jal Ganga Sanvardhan' campaign, special cleanliness activities are being carried out for the conservation and promotion of Bhopal's ponds, lakes, wells, stepwells and other water structures, which will run till June 15. The campaign will run from 8 to 10 am every day. In which public representatives, officers and employees will participate.

Officers and councilors were also present in the cleanliness campaign along with Mayor Malti Rai, MIC member Ravindra Yati.

This activity also took place on Friday morning. Collective labor was done under the lake conservation program in the Shirin river located in Kohefiza.
