Man kills his wife over suspicion of illicit relationship, burns body

Suspecting wife's illicit relationship, an auto driver strangulated his wife to death in the Nishatpura area and later burnt her body at Aravalia; police have recovered 14 small pieces of her body which the accused tried to dispose of.

The heinous act of the accused identified as Nadeemuddin alias Munna surfaced after her wife Sania Khan went missing on May 21 from her parents house and never reported back.

The accused after killing his wife, took the body in the auto and burnt it in a pit located 2 km away in Aravalia. He also tried to bury the remains. Later, the remains were cut into pieces with a knife and thrown at different places.

Police have recovered 14 small pieces of the woman's skull, legs and ribs from the pit.

The woman went missing on May 21. Since then, she was being searched for the last 12 days.

According to the family, before killing the woman, the accused husband beat up the woman in the village and also paraded her naked, then killed her.

According to Nishatpura police, the missing report of Sania Khan (22) was registered on May 21. Since then, her husband Nadeemuddin alias Munna was missing.

On the information of the informer, Nadeem was taken into custody and questioned, but initially he misled. On strict interrogation, on Saturday, he confessed to killing his wife Sania Khan. He also gave information about burning and throwing the body.

DSP Manju Chauhan said the woman was murdered by her husband as he suspected an illicit relationship. After this, the body was taken in an auto and burnt. An attempt was made to bury the remains. The remains found from the spot have been sent for DNA. The accused was arrested and sent to jail.

The woman's Anas said that Sania's mother died 12 years ago. Father Wasim Khan lives with his second daughter Sania was raised by her grandmother.

She was married to auto driver Nadeem, who lives in Parevakheda and was married during the lockdown in the year 2020. At the time of marriage, all the necessary items were given in dowry. Despite this, Nadeem started demanding a bike just 5 days after the marriage.

He used to abandon her out of the house frequently . He has beaten her many times due to suspicion of her character.

Anas said that Sania's two-month-old daughter also died two and a half months ago. Boiling water fell on her. Since then, Sania and Nadeem's relationship deteriorated further. Fed up, the sister came home.

After this, Nadeem called Sania on May 21 on the pretext of meeting her. She left the house without informing anyone and went missing. We had registered her missing report in Nishatpura police station. No clue was found anywhere.

Five days ago, we ourselves reached the village in search of our sister. Some people there informed that Nadeem had stripped the sister a few days ago and had beaten her. This information was given to the police. Then he was taken into custody.
