A tragedy happened in Lavachampa village near Bardiha police station. Bablu Chaudhary, 22, allegedly took his own life. This followed his girlfriend not answering his calls. Bablu, son of Munna Chaudhary, lived in Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, with his family for 15 years. He worked as a driver and laborer.
The family went back to Bardiha for the Chhath festival. On Thursday night, Bablu tried to call his girlfriend many times. After she didn't answer, he sent her a message. When he got no reply, he sadly chose to end his life. Bablu hanged himself with a saree in the house after cutting his arms with a blade, and he filmed the event.
Bablu's family couldn't reach him on Friday. Neighbors, sent by the family, found his body hanging. They quickly informed the family, who had not returned yet. Local police took the body and began post-mortem procedures.
