Mahtari Vandan Yojana for married women from Mar 1

The Chhattisgarh government will launch a welfare scheme under which married women will get Rs 1,000 a month from March 1, it was announced on Saturday.

Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojama, the money will be sent to their bank accounts, an official statement said.

The married women must be domicile of Chhattisgarh and aged above 21 years as on January 1, 2024.

Also, widows, divorced and abandoned women will also be eligible to avail its benefit if they fulfil the criteria.

Free of charge applications for this     scheme will be taken between February 5 and 20 through the login IDs of Anganwadi Centres, Panchayats and Child Development Project offices in rural areas.

In urban areas, they can to apply through the ward in-charge’s login ID.

The eligible women can apply online at https://www.mahtarivandan.cgstate.gov.in/ or via mobile app too.
