The Lions Club of Bhubaneswar Bankers organised a diebetes and cataract screening camp for the benefit of urban poor and nearby slum people.
With the cooperation of the medical team of Urban Health Mobile Unit under the National Health Mission, Government of Odisha, cataract and diabetes screenings were undertaken in the camp. Besides, general eye check up was also done and spectacles were distributed free of cost among the poor and needy people.
Ln Gayatri Mishra, Ln Ranjan Kumar Nayak and Ln Chittaranjan Mohanty assisted the medical team in conducting the camp.
LCB Bankers president Dr Manoranjan Bhuyan, secretary Raghunath Prusty and treasurer Manoranjan Das helped in organising this health camp. District Coordinators of Lion District 322C4 Ln. Maya Swain and Ln. Nirmal Kumar Behera, vice president-I of LCB Bankers Banambar Sahoo, members of the Board of Directors Ln Abhay Kumar Mohapatra, Ln Susmita Rout, Ln Manoj Kumar Jena and Ln Muktikanta Satpathy among others cooperated.
