As part of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 100 -day agenda plan, Delhi Lieutenant Governor (L-G) Vinai Kumar Saxena has directed the Chairman of the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), to resolve all the pending 9569 matters relating to the promotion and financial benefits of employees under the Modified Assured Career Progression (MACP) within 15 days. The L-G has also issued strict orders for resolving the pending cases of pay fixation under 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) in the NDMC.
As many as 3178 cases of MACP that would have ensured automatic promotion for employees serving for years together have been pending.
The departments of NDMC, where these service matters are pending include the Secretary Establishment, Electrical Establishment, Health Establishment, A&H Establishment and the Personnel Establishment itself.
Regarding the fixation of the other 5561 pending cases under the 7th CPC, the LG has instructed the NDMC to settle them at the earliest.
