Kshipra Parikrama to highlight importance of spiritual sites

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that Maa Kshipra Tirtha Parikrama will underline the archaeological and spiritual importance sites across the Kshipra banks. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing a gathering at the launching of Maa Kshipra Tirtha Parikrama at Ramghat of Ujjain today. A unique blend of religion, faith, and belief became alive at the start of Kshipra Tirtha Parikrama at Ramghat in Mahakal city Ujjaini.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav worshiped Kshipra and the dhwaja at Ramghat, followed by abhishek and aarti. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav launched the Kshipra Tirtha Parikrama by administering oath to the gathering for the Jalabhishek campaign dedicated to the conservation and revival of the rivers and water structures.

Water and environment conservation under Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan, water and environment conservation, river revitalization and plantation activities are being undertaken. Eleven rivers merge into the Kshipra. Avantika Tirtha is the most important of all pilgrimages. Through the Vedic clock, the standard time of Ujjain will be restored as the time of the country and the world. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav wished prosperity to all the devotees taking part in the Parikrama and congratulated them for the success.

Kshipra Tirtha Parikrama given a warm welcome

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav along with Sant Samaj, devotees and public representatives participated in the Kshipra Teerth Parikrama on foot. There was immense enthusiasm among the people taking part in the Parikrama, Parikrama flags were waving in the hands of the pilgrims. Various religious-social and voluntary organizations welcomed the Kshipra Tirtha Parikrama by showering flowers on the Parikrama route.

At the outset Dr. Yadav welcomed the Sant Balayogi Umeshnath Maharaj (Rajya Sabha member), Sant Bhagwandas Maharaj, Kushaldas Maharaj, Mahant Haridas Maharaj and Anil Guru Maharaj on stage. Among those who participated in the launching programme were MP Anil Firojia, MLA Anil Jain Kaluheda, Shri Satish Malviya, Mayor Mukesh Tatwal, Municipal Corporation Chairman Smt. Kalavati Yadav and former MLAs, Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, Director General of Police Sudhir Saxena, public representatives, distinguished citizens, saints, and a large number of devotees.

Yatra to cover major religious places, conclude on Ganga Dussehra

Kshipra Teerth Parikrama Yatra starting from Ramghat will pass through Nrisinghghat, Anandeshwar Temple, Jagdish Temple, Gaughat, Jantar Mantar, Varuneshwar Mahadev Temple (Sheetal Guest House) to Indore Road CHL Hospital, Prashantdham Temple, Gurukul (Triveni) Navgraha Shani Temple. After this the Yatra will move from Gothda, Sikandari, Daudkhedi, Chandmukh, Chintaman, Mangraula Phanta, Lalpul, Bhukhi Mata Mandir via Gurunanak Ghat and reach Dutta Akhada for nighstay. After holy bath at the ghat on Sunday 16th June, the Yatra will move to Ranjit Hanuman, Kalbhairav, Siddhanath, Angareshwar, Kamed, Mangalnath, Sandipani Ashram, Ram Mandir, Gadhkalika, Bhritrihari Caves, Rinmukteshwar, Valmiki Dham Chakratirtha, Danigate, Dhaba Road, Gopal Mandir, Patni Bazaar, Gudri Chouraha, Mahakal Temple, Bada Ganesh Mandir, Harsiddhi and back to Ramghat. The journey will conclude here on Ganga Dussehra.
