Kids International School celebrated the 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and a display of national pride. The celebration began with the flag hoisting ceremony led by the school’s Principal, Rukhsar Ayesha, who was escorted by the Head Boy, Taskeen Jamal, and Head Girl, Saleha Tabassum. In a show of respect and patriotism, Commander Atib, along with School Captain Yasir and other cabinet members, saluted the tricolor as it was raised.

Following the flag hoisting, the students showcased a vibrant and diverse cultural program that captured the essence of India’s unity in diversity. The program featured a variety of performances including a group song, group dance, pyramid formation, mime act, march past, and speeches that resonated with the theme of national pride and mutual brotherhood. The performances were met with applause from the audience, which included students, parents, and faculty members.

Sweets and flags were distributed among all attendees, adding to the celebratory atmosphere. School Director Rashid Zafar addressed the gathering, emphasizing the significance of Independence Day and the sacrifices made by the nation’s martyrs. He expressed his joy at witnessing the children's enthusiasm for the country and lauded their efforts in making the event a success. Zafar also reminded everyone of the importance of understanding and upholding the values that Independence Day represents.

The program was seamlessly anchored by MD Fauzan and Shaheen Tanveer, who kept the audience engaged throughout the event. The entire school faculty, including teachers and coordinators, were present to support and celebrate with the students, making the 78th Independence Day a memorable occasion for all at Kids International School.
