Following a spectacular opening, the second day of Kerala Fest in Bhopal continued to enthrall audiences with a vibrant array of cultural performances. Organized by the United Malayalee Association in celebration of its 40th anniversary, the event at the Bittan Market Ground showcased the richness of Kerala’s artistic heritage, drawing an even larger crowd eager to immerse themselves in the festivities.

The evening's program began at 7:15 pm with an elegant classical dance performance by the renowned Kalanjali troupe. The first segment, choreographed by  Pradeep Krishnan, set the stage for an evening filled with artistic excellence. The dancers' fluid movements and expressive gestures conveyed the profound beauty and depth of classical Indian dance, leaving the audience spellbound.

Following the classical dance, the audience was treated to a series of traditional Kerala art forms under the segment titled Kala Roopangal. This segment continued to highlight the diverse and vibrant cultural traditions of Kerala, offering a window into the state’s rich artistic heritage.

The program then returned to the classical dance performances by Kalanjali, featuring another captivating segment that further showcased the dancers' exceptional talent and dedication to their craft. A significant part of the evening was the dais program, where distinguished guests and dignitaries shared their thoughts and insights. They praised the United Malayalee Association for its efforts in promoting cultural exchange and unity among diverse communities. Their speeches reinforced the importance of such cultural festivals in fostering mutual understanding and appreciation.

Following the speeches, the Kala Roopangal segment continued, presenting more mesmerizing Kerala art forms that captivated the audience.

The highlight of the evening was the electrifying Kalarippayattu demonstration. This ancient martial art form, presented by the esteemed K. F. Thomas Gurukkal and his team, showcased a thrilling display of skill, strength, and coordination. The performance not only emphasized the physical prowess required for Kalarippayattu but also its philosophical and spiritual dimensions, offering a holistic view of this traditional practice.
