JMM seeks Amit Shah’s resignation on the issue of infiltration

Tuesday, 19 November 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) demanded on Monday that Union Home Minister, Amit Shah should resigned on the infiltration issue because he is failed to stop it as he announced in his every assembly elections rally in the State that infiltration is massively going on in the State.

JMM General Secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya said in a press conference in Giridih that even on the last day of election campaign, UP CM Adityanath Yogi is roaming in Jharkhand today. He said that like every time, he is campaigning in the name of Hindu even today. He said that Yogi said that when Hindus were divided in Ayodhya, Mathura and Kashi, it was a loss, then when they united, it benefited, so we have to stay united and stay safe.

On this, Bhattacharya taunted and said, after the BJP government was formed in 2014, Hinduism came in danger and before that Hinduism was not in danger.

The Party General Secretary said that similarly in 2024 a new word came of infiltration. "Earlier, there was no mention of infiltration anywhere. A few days ago, Home Minister Amit Shah said that infiltration has taken place, he accepts this. Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma and the Supreme Court also believe that infiltration has taken place. On this, Supriyo said, then why is the Home Minister still in his post. He should resign," he added.

Bhattacharya said that Amit Shah further said that we make ration cards for infiltrators. "For making ration card, first of all Aadhar card is required and making Aadhar card is the job of the centre. Home ministry is directly responsible for this. On this basis also Amit Shah should resign. Similarly, a BJP MP demands in the parliament to divide Santhal into a separate union territory. On the other hand, UP CM Yogi says if we are divided then we will be divided. One talks of dividing and the other talks of being divided. But we still stand by our words that we were one, are one and will remain one. Actually BJP has become issueless. BJP has started getting troubled by all our schemes," he added.
