In the case of the shootout that took place on the evening of June 26 in Doranda, Ranchi, the police have arrested JMM leader Azam Ahmed and his son-in-law Ali Khan. The police have also recovered weapons and live bullets from them.
It is worth noting that the firing incident was carried out last night due to a dispute near the government well located in Manitola of Doranda police station area. However, there were no casualties in this incident.
After the shootout, a police team was formed on the instructions of SSC Chandan Sinha. The formed team took action and arrested JMM leader Azam Ahmed and his son-in-law Ali Khan within 24 hours.
There has been a dispute over land between Javed and Ali's factions for the last several years. People of both factions are claiming that the 20 decimal land is their land. The firing incident was carried out due to this land dispute.
People present at the spot allege that Mo. Ali fired the shot, and Ranchi police have expelled him from the district. Apart from this, Arif, Shahbaz and others have been accused of firing the shot. Police are investigating the CCTV footage installed at the spot so that evidence can be found against those who fired the shot.
Police say that a few days ago, there was a dispute between these groups in Mistri Mohalla in Doranda police station area. On that day too, there was an incident of firing and a child was shot.
