Union Home and Social Welfare Minister Amit Shah today addressed huge election rallies in Dumka and Madhupur. During this, Shah fiercely attacked the Congress and said that when the people of Jharkhand were struggling to form a separate state, then the Congress fired bullets and lathis on them. The Congress government did not give Jharkhand its rights. But today Hemant Soren is sitting in the lap of the Congress for the post of Chief Minister. The Home Minister said that Jharkhand was made a separate state by our former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. But now the work of improving Jharkhand is being done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda, we installed the statue of Lord Birsa Munda at Sarai Kale Khan Chowk in Delhi, but Hemant Soren opposed it. Shah said that, I want to tell Hemant Soren that on 15 November 2021, Prime Minister Modi ji did the work of celebrating Adivasi Gaurav Diwas.
Shah said, from Jawaharlal Nehru of Congress to Manmohan Singh, no Prime Minister has visited Dharti Aaba's village till date. But our Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the only PM who has visited Dharti Aaba's village and paid his respects to him. He said that Dharti Aaba's dream was to protect water-forest-land. Prime Minister Modi has worked to give respect and security along with water-forest-land. For the first time in the country, BJP-NDA has done the work of making a poor tribal daughter Draupadi Murmu the President.
The Home Minister said, during the UPA government, there was a budget of only Rs 28 thousand crore for the tribals. But our Modi ji worked to increase it to 1 lakh 33 thousand crores. He said that Hemant Babu should give an account of the UPA government to the people of the state. The JMM-Congress-RJD government has reduced both the land and population of the tribals by settling intruders. But as soon as the BJP government is formed, all the intruders will be thrown out one by one.
He said that PM Modi has built 10 tribal museums at a cost of 200 crores. Sido Kanho's statue is also going to be installed in all these museums. He said, Hemant Babu, you were asking for an account from us, we have given an account of what we have done in the memory of Dharti Aaba. If you have the courage, then you too should give an account of the UPA government to our tribal brothers and sisters. The population of tribals is decreasing, who is responsible for this, Hemant Soren, you are responsible.
Shah said, the Hemant government cannot protect the bread-daughter-land of Jharkhand. Even after the court order, the Hemant government did not identify the corrupt people. But as soon as the BJP government is formed, a law will be made to get the tribals their land back. The 350 crore rupees recovered from the house of a Congress leader and the 35 crore rupees recovered from another person's house was the money of the people of Jharkhand. As soon as the BJP-NDA government is formed, every single penny will be recovered from the corrupt people and kept in the treasury of Jharkhand.
