The Jamshedpur Citizens Forum (JCF) celebrated the spirit of community and dedication at its annual awards ceremony, honoring individuals who have made significant contributions to society. Founded as a non-political organization bridging citizens, corporate entities, and government, JCF aims to foster a cohesive community spirit.

The highlight of the evening was the prestigious "Corporate Purush Award," recognizing senior executives from corporate houses and promoters of MSMEs in Jamshedpur and Adityapur. This award acknowledges exemplary contributions in production, productivity, marketing, and corporate social responsibility. Previous recipients include luminaries such as  HM Nerurkar, Former MD of Tata Steel,  T V Narendran, CEO and MD of Tata Steel, and  DB Sundara Ramam, Vice President of Tata Steel.

In the latest edition for the year 2023-24, JCF bestowed the honor upon  Ashish Anupam, VP of Long Product TSL, and  Dilip Goyal, MD of ASL Group, Adityapur. The ceremony, graced by  Chaitanya Bhanu, VP Operations at TSL (Jamshedpur), as Chief Guest, saw  AK Srivastava, President of JCF, present citations and trophies to the awardees.  Ranjan Sinha, CPO at TSL, also addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of such recognitions in fostering a progressive society.

Ashish Anupam expressed his gratitude towards the citizens of Jamshedpur for the award. He said that it is purely the Tata Culture which he has taken forward in the true sense and dedicated it to his entire team at TSL (Gamharia) who have selflessly worked behind the scenes.

Dilip Goyal said that such recognition will inspire others to get involved and contribute to making our community thrive. He said that the principle of "seva," or selfless service, is deeply ingrained in the Vedic tradition and is considered a fundamental path to spiritual growth and societal harmony.

Cdr Sanjeev Raman, Secretary JCF  conducted the function and delivered the Vote of Thanks. The function was attended by a wide section of society representing corporate, senior citizens, Chamber of Commerce, CII, Rotary, Lions, ASIA and intelligentsia of Jamshedpur.
