It rains in 23 distrcits in MP including Bhopal, Indore

The rainy season continues in Madhya Pradesh. On Friday, 23 districts including Bhopal and Indore received rain. In Gwalior, colonies and roads were flooded. The Narmada river overflowed in Dindori. In Panna, two sisters were swept away by the strong current of water in a drain. Both died.

Two rain systems are active in Madhya Pradesh. Due to this, the entire state is getting wet. The weather will remain the same on Saturday as well. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain in Gwalior-Chambal.

The system will be strong again on July 7. This may cause heavy rain from July 8.

On Friday, there was heavy rain at some places and light rain at other places in Chhindwara, Damoh, Jabalpur, Khajuraho, Naugaon, Sagar, Satna, Tikamgarh, Umaria, Malajkhand, Bhopal, Betul, Dhar, Guna, Gwalior, Narmadapuram, Indore, Khandwa, Khargone, Pachmarhi, Raisen, Shivpuri and Ujjain. Due to the rain, the day temperature has dropped significantly in many cities. The mercury was recorded at 26.6 degrees Celsius in the hill station Pachmarhi.

On Friday, two sisters were swept away in the strong current of the drain in Panna. Due to which they died. At the same time, the condition of a girl remains critical. The incident is of Ghuthehi Pipraha village of Saleha police station area. All three had gone to take bath in the drain. Then this accident happened.

Clouds were present in Bhopal since morning. In the afternoon, thick black clouds came and it started raining. Heavy rain is occurring in some parts of the city and light rain is occurring intermittently in some parts.

Due to the intermittent rains in Dindori for the last one week, the water level of the tributary rivers including Narmada is continuously increasing. Due to the rising water level, the view of Narmada has started looking like a dam. A large number of local people are coming to the banks of Narmada in the morning and evening to see this view. Some people are also seen taking risks and entering the river.

Amid heavy rains in Gandhwani of Dhar district, Union Minister of State Savitri Thakur was given a grand welcome by BJP workers. Savitri Thakur also planted saplings by joining the 'Ek Paudha Maa Ke Naam' campaign here.

Met told that in the next 24 hours, many districts may receive 5 to 8 cm of rain. The system will weaken after 48 hours, but light rain will continue. The system will be strong again on July 7. This may cause heavy rain on July 8.

There was bright sunshine in Ambah of Morena district since morning. The weather changed at around 11:30 am and rain started. The fields were flooded. Farmers say that due to waterlogging, they will be able to sow millet crop after about 1 week.

In Agar Malwa, a tamarind tree fell on Achleshwar Mahadev Mandir Road amid rain on Thursday-Friday night. Electricity wires broke due to it. In the morning, the tree was cut and removed from the road.

In Ashoknagar, due to heavy rain late at night, water came on the culvert of Sawan and Khajuria village. The tin roof of a house fell in Shankar Colony of the city. People came out of the house in time, due to which there was no loss of life.
