Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that favorable policies, supportive environment and administrative cooperation have helped industries grow well in Madhya Pradesh. Industrial units are being established with a positive mindset.
Yadav inaugurated and laid the foundation for 47 new industrial units in the state involving a cost of Rs. 1586 crore at Regional Industry Conclave at Gwalior today. T his conclave is focused on the theme of heritage, history, and industry. Land allocation letters were handed over to 5 industrial units.
Yadav paid homage to Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia at the Agriculture University campus and visited an exhibition focused on the development prospects of the micro, small, and medium enterprise sector.
It was announced to open 8 district-level industry facilitation centers in the Gwalior-Chambal region. These centers have started functioning from today in Gwalior, Morena, Bhind, Sheopur, Shivpuri, Datia, Guna, and Ashoknagar. Representatives from Mexico and Zambia also attended the conclave.
The CM said that a huge private hospital will be established in Gwalior. He encouraged industrialists to see for themselves state's unique features and make decisions regarding industrial establishment.
Dr. Yadav emphasized that entrepreneurship development is possible in a favourable environment. He said that Gwalior belongs to land of sages and musicians and has been a major industrial center. He said that the state government has ensured the payment of dues to the workers of the Hukamchand Mill in Indore. He highlighted that issues related to sick industrial units saying that they should be resolved, and decisions will be taken for similar cases. The problem of JC Mill in Gwalior will also be addressed in a manner similar to that of Hukamchand Mill.
Dr. Yadav further said that the lives of Lord Rama and Lord Krishna inspire us to work towards good governance, duty, and righteousness. He announced establishment of a private sector hospital in Gwalior. A police station will be set up in Sitapur and a fire station in the industrial area will also be initiated.
Union Minister for Communications and Northeast Region Development, Jyotiraditya Scindia, said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has awakened Gwalior to industrial growth. Infrastructure and investment initiatives in the Gwalior region began years ago. Yadav has worked hard to bring the state's potential onto the national stage. He is the first Chief Minister to initiate a Regional Industry Conclave. Scindia remarked that an investment of Rs. 1.84 lakh crore in just six months is a big achievement. The arrival of new industries will undoubtedly change the scenario of Gwalior-Chambal region. He also highlighted the potential for industrial development in different sectors.
Stae Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India's stature has increased over the past decade. A holistic approach to development has been adopted. India is currently the fifth-largest economy in the world, and efforts are underway to become the third-largest. Speaker Tomar emphasized that organizing this conclave on the sacred soil of Gwalior is significant.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is concerned about villages, the poor, and women, as well as the development of industries and businesses. The Madhya Pradesh government is actively addressing the challenge of strengthening employment and the economy.
