CCL organises programme on ‘The Art of Living’


HRD Department, CCL is organising a corporate programme on "The Art of Living" for senior level executives from August 29 to August 31 at Jawaharnagar Club, Ranchi. The inaugural session of the programme was held on August 29, 2024 in the presence of Director (Personnel), Harsh Nath Mishra and Director (Technical/Planning & Projects), CCL, Satish Jha. The dignitaries addressed all the participants on the importance of the programme on "The Art of Living" and its utility in daily activities. This three-day programme will be conducted by two eminent speakers of national repute from Art of Living corporate programmes, Ms. Shivani Shivhare and Mr. Srijeet KC. General Manager (HRD), CCL RK Pandey welcomed all the dignitaries and speakers at the beginning of the programme. The programme was moderated by Manager (Personnel/HRD), Kavita Kumari. 25 participants from various departments attended the programme.

 

Palamu police rescue 14 bovine animals

 

DALTONGANJ: Bishrampur police today rescued 14 bovine animals that were being smuggled from Palamu to Garhwa. SP Reeshma Ramesan said among the 14 rescued bovine animals one is a cow and 13 are oxen. All the bovine animals were in a truck. The interception and rescue were done at Brahmoria More under the Bishrampur police station limits. Police have arrested 2 people who are driver and co-driver identified as Islam Ansari, 45 and Khurshid Khan, 25. Ansari hails from Palamu while Khan comes from Garhwa district.  Both have been booked under section 317 (5)3 (5) of the Bhartiya Nayaya Sanhita as well as under section 12 /13  of the Jharkhand bovine animal prohibition of slaughter act 2005. End 

 

SCS organizes Plantation Drive

 

A tree plantation drive was initiated by Dipanwita Sen, (a nature lover and wife of Justice Ananda Sen) and executed by the Eco Club of Surendranath Centenary School on 30th August 2024. The drive aimed to promote environmental conservation and sustainability. In her speech Sen emphasized the need for collective action to protect the environment. She motivated the students to plant a tree on their birthday. The event featured a welcome dance, a song, and a skit performed by students, highlighting the importance of tree plantation. The Eco Club members( teachers and students) planted several trees in and around the campus, pledging to nurture and care for them. The event concluded with a vote of thanks to Sen for her initiative and guidance. Principal Samita Sinha appreciated the efforts of the Eco Club in executing this drive and encouraged the students to continue with this  noble cause.

 

National Sports Day at KIS

Jamshedpur:Kids International School celebrated National Sports Day with great enthusiasm, organizing a variety of sports competitions, cultural programs, and speech contests. During the celebration, the school’s Principal, Rukhsar Ayesha, emphasized on the significance of National Sports Day.
