Hry CM to attend State Level Prog of Int’l Day of Yoga in Hisar

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will be the Chief Guest at the State Level Function of 10th International Day of Yoga to be organized in Hisar on Friday. A government spokesperson said that the International Day of Yoga will be organized in all district blocks of the State with great fervor and grandeur. This year, the theme of International Yoga Day is 'Yoga for Self and Society, he added.

In district Panchkula, Speaker, Haryana Vidhan Sabha Gian Chand Gupta will be the chief guest in the district level yoga day function; Kanwar Pal Gujjar, Agriculture Minister will be the chief guest in the district level yoga day function at Yamuna Nagar while State Industry Minister Mool Chand Sharma at Faridabad; Ranjit Singh, Energy Minister at Sirsa, JP Dalal, Finance Minister at Bhiwani, Public Health Engineering Minister Banwari Lal at Ambala-I, Kamal Gupta, Health Minister at Hisar II, Seema Trikha, Minister of State for School Education at Palwal, Mahipal Dhanda, Minister of State for Development & Panchayats at Panipat, Abhe Singh Yadav, Minister of State for irrigation & Water Resources at Narnaul; Subhash Sudha, Minister of State for Urban Local Bodies at Thaneshwar; Bishamber Singh, Minister of State for Social Justice, Empowerment, SCs & BCs Welfare and Antyodaya at Charkhi Dadri; Sanjay Singh, Minister of State for Environment, Forest & Wild life at Gurugram, MP Rajya Sabha Krishan Panwar at Madlauda, Panipat; MP Rajya Sabha Subhash Barala will be the chief guest in the district level yoga day function at Tohana.

CM approves 4 projects worth Rs 62.48 crore in Rohtak under Rural Augmentation Programme

 Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has granted administrative sanction for four major projects worth Rs. 62.48 crore in Rohtak District under the Rural Augmentation Programme. An official spokesperson said the approved projects include raw water arrangement from JLN Canal through pumping and laying of DI pipe from canal to water works of village Kabulpur, District Rohtak at an estimated cost of Rs 2.13 crore, Providing independent canal based water works at village Madina Gindhran-II, at an estimated cost of Rs. 6.33 crore, Renovation of existing water works and laying of distribution pipe line at village Bahu Akbarpur at an estimated cost of Rs 14.24 crore, Establishing a raw water arrangement from the JLN Canal through a pumping system for 13 existing water works that serve 12 villages. This project also includes the construction of raw water pumping station and laying of DI pipes, with an estimated cost of Rs 39.78 crore.
 
Saini also has granted administrative sanction for the special repair and improvement of 3 MDR (Major District Roads) in 2 Districts namely Bhiwani and Sirsa. This project will cost over Rs. 35 crore. The important roads with a district connecting production and market places with each other or with the main highways are known as 'Major District Roads'.
