Hry CM takes significant decision in interest of HSVP allottees

Tuesday, 09 July 2024 | PNS | Chandigarh

Stating that the allottees of the Haryana Shahri Vikas   Pradhikaran (HSVP) are set to receive financial benefits from the Government, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Monday instructed officials to draft a policy under the 'Vivaadon Ka Samadhan' scheme to resolve pending cases related to the enhancement of plots. Under this scheme, by depositing the outstanding enhancement amount in a lump sum, more than 4,400 plot owners will receive significant relief from interest, resolving their pending enhancement cases from 2015 to 2019, he added.

Chairing a review meeting of the HSVP here in which Town and Country Planning and Urban Estates Minister JP Dalal was also present,  the Chief Minister said that the main objective of the government is to provide relief to the people and an effective policy should be formulated to settle the pending enhancement cases effectively as soon as possible. He also directed that such disputes should be resolved promptly under the housing schemes being implemented by the Housing for All departments.

He directed that the plots currently being sold by HSVP through e-auction should be properly demarcated to prevent any future disputes between the authority and the allottees. Apart from this, while giving instructions to provide proper place to the street vendors in Mansa Devi Complex Panchkula, he said that HSVP and Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board should together prepare a policy in this regard.

The Chief Minister was apprised that since June 2021, HSVP has allotted approximately 25,000 plots through e-auction, generating around Rs.27,000 crores for the authority. The HSVP still has about 70,000 plots available, out of which approximately 15,000 plots are ready for e-auction in the coming three months. This will generate around Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 2,500 crores per month for the authority.
