High-Tech Custom Hiring centre inaugurated by Agri department

A programme on High-tech Custom Hiring centre was organized by the Department of Agriculture of Rabindranath Tagore University. In which, as the chief guest, BS Kothari, Assistant Engineer Bhopal Division, Agricultural Engineering, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Chancellor of RNTU Santosh Choubey, Registrar Vijay Singh and Vice Chancellor Sangeeta Johri were mainly present.

The guests inaugurated the center by cutting the ribbon. On this occasion, BS Kothari informed the farmers about the schemes of the department and gave detailed information about the work done by agricultural mechanics and how farmers can take advantage of the schemes through the district and state level online portal.

At the same time, Santosh Chobe said that now we will have to move towards new methods by adopting advanced agricultural machinery and techniques, leaving behind the old methods of farming.

Along with this, the value of agricultural products will have to be enhanced by promoting organic farming. He also said that farmer brothers should take advantage of custom hiring and other government schemes of agriculture and advised the agriculture students of his university to visit the farmers' fields in the village.

After this, Vijay Singh addressed the farmers explaining the importance of custom hiring and wished the department. On this occasion, Dr. HD Verma, Dean of the Agriculture Department of the University, laid out the outline of the program.

Ashok Kumar Verma, Coordinator of the High-Tech Custom Hiring Center, gave detailed information about the center. In the program, all the agricultural equipment was worshiped and inspected by the guests. At the same time, the guests released agricultural literature related to the High-Tech Custom Hiring Center, Agricultural Advisory Center and Desi Program, gave mini kits of seeds to the farmers and also honored them.About 65 farmers from the adopted villages of the university participated in the program. The program was conducted and the introduction of the program was done by Dr. Rishikesh Mandloi, Assistant Professor. Vote of thanks was given by Dr. Shubham Kulshreshtha, Assistant Professor.
