Heavy rains witnessed in several parts of the State

Several regions of the state witnessed heavy rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning on Tuesday, due to rain in Amarwara of Chhindwara, the meeting of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was cancelled. The nomination rally of BJP candidate Kamlesh Shah also had to be cancelled.

A woman and a youth in Bijagora died due to lightning in Nai Tola village of Chhindwara while four children were injured.

At the same time, heavy rains occurred in many areas of Bhopal in the afternoon. There was a spell of rain for about 15 minutes in Ashok Nagar urban and rural areas. Heavy rains also occurred in Guna and a storm was witnessed in Tikamgarh.

Heavy rains occurred in the city with heavy thunder and lightning at around 1.30 pm on Tuesday afternoon. Due to this, drains were overflown in many areas including Link Road No. 1, MP Nagar, Tulsi Nagar.

Due to the rain that lasted for about an hour in Vidisha, the roads took the form of drains. The lower settlements were flooded. Heavy rain also occurred in Narmadapuram, Raisen, Vidisha, Tikamgarh.

Meanwhile, the weather department has predicted thunderstorms and rain in the next 24 hours. According to the weather department, thunderstorms may occur at a speed of 80 kmph along with lightning in Guna, Sanchi-Bhimbetka of Raisen, Orchha of Niwari, Seoni, Sehore, Chhindwara and Balaghat.

Light storm with lightning may occur in Rajgarh, Udaygiri of Vidisha, Bhopal, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Sheopurkalan, Gwalior, Ratangarh of Datia, Shajapur, Betul, Pachmarhi of Narmadapuram, Khandwa, Harda, Narsinghpur, Panna, Tikamgarh, Khajuraho of Chhatarpur, South Jabalpur, Mandla, Dindori, Sagar, Damoh, Indore, Agar-Malwa, Burhanpur, Dhar, Ujjain, Dewas, Barwani, Maheshwar of Khargone, Pandhurna, Bhind, Morena, Chitrakoot of Satna, Katni, South Umaria, Amarkantak of Anuppur.

There was an effect of humidity and heat since morning. Due to this people became sweaty, but after 1 pm the weather changed. Rain started from 1.30 pm. It rained heavily for about half an hour. Due to this the city became wet. The rain continued till late night.

The Meteorological Department had issued a yellow alert for rain. Heavy rain started in the afternoon. There may be light rain on 19th June. The weather will be sunny and cloudy.

There is an alert for heavy rain on June 20. Due to this, the day temperature is expected to be around 35 degrees. It may rain on 21st June as well. There is a yellow alert for rain. The period of storm and rain will continue on 22nd June as well. There may be a drop in day and night temperatures.

Monsoon enters Bhopal by June 20. This time too, the monsoon is expected to arrive on the same date. Before that, the effect of heat will remain. That is, it will be hot in Bhopal till 15th June. The average maximum temperature in June is up to 37.4 degrees. At the same time, the temperature at night reaches 26 degrees.

This month the humidity is the highest. It was recorded at 64 percent. An average of 132.8 mm i.e., 5.22 inches of rain was recorded in 1 month and it rains in Bhopal for 6 to 7 days.
