Heavy rains continue in 12 districts of eastern Madhya Pradesh

Heavy rains continued in the eastern part of Madhya Pradesh on Thursday, rainfall was witnessed in 12 districts. Damoh received the most rainfall of 56 mm i.e., 2.2 inches.

Meanwhile, a 12-year-old girl died due to lightning in Panna. Her two brothers were injured in the incident.

According to the Meteorological Department, about half an inch to 1 inches of rainfall was recorded in Khajuraho, Mandla, Naugaon, Satna, Seoni. Rainfall also occurred in Chhindwara, Jabalpur, Rewa, Sagar, Umaria, Malajkhand of Balaghat. Light rain was also recorded in the western part of the state i.e., Betul and Guna.

A young man was swept away with his bike while crossing the culvert on the Raimala to Mirapur road in Prabhat Pattan development block of Betul district. His companion somehow managed to save his life and came out.

Actually, after the rain on Wednesday night, water was flowing over the causeway. Dinesh Lohare, a resident of Pohar village and Santosh Solanki of Balegaon were going to Mirapur by bike.

In the middle, when the flow of water on the causeway increased, both of them were pushing the bike out on foot. During this, the bike went out of control. Santosh left the bike and came out. Dinesh did not leave the bike and got washed away along with the bike. His body was found 10 hours later on Thursday.

Two brothers and a sister sitting under a tree were injured due to lightning in Panna. The family brought all three to Gunnaur Hospital. Where the 12-year-old sister died. At the same time, the two brothers are undergoing treatment.

The incident is in the Gunnaur police station area. Lakshmi Kushwaha (12) was sitting under a mango tree in village Mudwari with her two younger brothers Ashish Kushwaha (3) and Shibbu Kushwaha (5) to avoid the rain. Then suddenly lightning struck with a strong thunder, in which all three were injured.

Heavy rain occurred in Khandwa after a week. The roads got wet in 15 minutes of rain. People got relief from the humidity.

At the same time, the farmers also got relief. Due to no rain for a week, the soybean crop had also come to wilt.

Four youths were injured after being struck by lightning in Birsinghpur Pali of Umaria district. All of them were sitting under a tree. Lightning struck the tree during the rain in the afternoon.

Young men Lavkush (22), Sunil (20), Guddu Sonkar (32) and Ram Vishwakarma (20) were injured in this. After the information, Birsinghpur Pali SDM TR Nag reached the hospital and inquired about the injured.The SDM of Birsinghpur Pali went to the hospital and inquired about the injured.

Heavy rain occurred in Ashoknagar on Thursday evening after four days. This gave relief to the people from heat and humidity.

Bhopal is also included in the top-5 districts of MP with the highest rainfall. So far, 12.1 inches of rainfall has been reported. This is 32% of the quota of rain. Bhopal is definitely ahead in overall rainfall, but is lagging behind in July's rain.

Only 3 inches of rain has been recorded in the last 10 days. If 11.4 inches of rainfall is going to occur in the next 21 days, the quota of July will be completed. However, there is an alert of heavy rain for the next 4 days. In such a situation, the figure may increase. It has been cloudy since Thursday morning.

It rains a lot in Bhopal in July. There is a record of 1031.4 mm i.e. about 41 inches of rain in this month. This happened in the year 1986. At the same time, on 22 July 1973, 11 inches of rain fell in 24 hours. This is also a record so far. This time the monsoon arrived on 23 June. So far the figures are better. There has been 32% more rain than normal.
