A 55 year old passenger was found lying unconscious in the main lobby of the Daltonganj railway station under the Dhanbad division of the east central railway this afternoon today.
Daltonganj railway station superintendent Umesh Kumar said the man had a fever as he was trembling. He had no sweating.
Umesh Kumar said "We suspect him to be a case of heatstroke. He was found unconscious in such a corner of the lobby of the Daltonganj railway station where it is a bit cooler than other areas."
The unconscious passenger was rushed to the MMCH Daltonganj by the railway officials.
Umesh Kumar said a railway personnel accompanied the unconscious passenger to the MMCH Daltonganj.
There in the MMCH the unconscious passenger has been put on the medical oxygen. His condition is unstable, said the MMCH sources.
Umesh Kumar said his small belongings like his locked cell phone, charger, power glasses etc have been safely preserved by the railway.
There is one more thing in his left behind belongings. It's a popular Hindi daily of Kanpur edition. It is believed the unconscious passenger hails from UP.
Till the filing of this report his identity was not established.
