Minister of State for Backward and Minority Welfare (Independent Charge), Krishna Gaur said that using sanitary pads helps prevent numerous diseases and is essential for women’s health. She shared these views during a free sanitary pad distribution programme held in the Govindpura Industrial Area as part of the Swasth Nari-Swasth Samaj initiative.
Minister of State, Krishna Gaur, urged women who are not yet using sanitary pads to start incorporating them into their routine for better health. She highlighted that free sanitary pads, sufficient for three months, are being distributed to help women develop this important habit. Gaur also mentioned that pads will be available at Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendras for just Re 1 per pad. Emphasizing the importance of health, she stated that a healthy body brings happiness, and using sanitary pads contributes to maintaining good health.
Minister of State, Krishna Gaur, emphasized that every woman aspires for her children to become educated and responsible citizens. She stressed that it is the family's duty to instill strong values in children, guiding them to become cultured individuals who show respect for their elders. Gaur encouraged teaching children the values embodied by Lord Shri Ram and Shri Krishna. She highlighted the significance of these values by referencing stories from the Ramayana to illustrate their importance in shaping good character.
Minister of State Gaur said that God has given power to women. They should use their power against injustice and exploitation. She said that the government takes strict action against those who commit atrocities against women on the soil of Madhya Pradesh. If anyone has any information about atrocities against women, they should immediately bring it to her notice. Minister of State Gaur spoke on social values ??while mentioning Ganesh Parv, Shraadh Paksha and Navdurga Parv.
Minister of State Gaur appreciated the work of distribution of sanitary pads by Krishna Socio-Cultural Organization. She said that the organization is also helping women become financially independent and establish their enterprises. Thousands of women including Kiran Khare, Shiromani Sharma, Mamta Vishwakarma, Urmila Maurya, Savita Thakur, Chhaya Thakur, Lakshmi Thakur, Sadhna Tiwari, Chetna Parmar, Pooja Yadav, Harsha Pandey, Purnima, etc. were present in the free pad distribution programme. Young girls performed in a cultural programme.
