In yet another video of unusual passenger behaviour in the Delhi Metro, which has become a lifeline of the city in 20 years, a group of women are seen singing traditional songs and dancing inside the metro coach in a reel shared on social media platform Instagram.

As the reel progresses, a woman dancing and singing in the group is even seen encouraging others to join in, garnering astonishment and amusement from onlookers witnessing the spontaneous performance within the metro coach reserved for women passengers.

The clip was shared on Instagram on April 17 with the caption ‘Delhi metro me aapka swagat hai’ (Welcome to the Delhi Metro).

Since the video was posted, it has garnered more than 5.6 million views and over 210,000 likes. The post also prompted mixed reaction from social media users.

While some found it better than other such videos and fighting that takes place in the metro, others called it annoying and asked the authorities to take strict action against such behaviour displayed in a public transport. <

"Where are the bride and the groom? Whose ladies sangeet is this happening inside the metro?" commented one user.

However this is not the first time such incidents of unusual behaviour of commuters took place.  Videos of people fighting over seats, content creators shooting reels, or unruly travellers behaving inappropriately have become common in the Delhi metro. In a similar incident, a woman was seen sitting on a man's lap inside a crowded Delhi Metro coach after being unable to find a seat. Another such case involves two women putting on each other's colours and showing inappropriate gestures inside the metro.

The video sparked controversy, with social media users expressing outrage over the woman's act and raising concerns about the behaviour of metro commuters nowadays. Several people asked DMRC and Delhi Police to look into the matter and take action against the woman.
