Govt committed to pay dues of JC Mill workers: CM

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that the state government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership is committed to the welfare of workers. Action will soon be taken to pay the dues of the workers of JC Mill of Gwalior and other closed mills of the state on the lines of the Hukumchand Mill of Indore and Vinod Mill of Ujjain. The Chief Minister said that more than 8 thousand workers of JC Mill of Gwalior, whose cases were lying closed for 30-40 years will be resolved.

Chief Minister Yadav came to inspect the JC Mill of Gwalior on Monday. During this, he visited the JC Mill premises and also obtained information about the land and other assets of JC Mill through a map.

The Chief Minister’s presence in the midst overwhelmed the JC Mill workers and their families. Everyone warmly welcomed Chief Minister Yadav with flowers. They said that for the first time, a Chief Minister has come to JC Mill to listen to our pain and suffering. Now we are confident that our several years-old pending liabilities on JC Mill will be cleared. On this occasion, Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister  Yadav on behalf of JC Mill workers.

Reiterating his commitment to protect the interests of JC Mill workers, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the government wants a solution, not a lawsuit. The government will present its case in court in the interest of the workers so that it paves the way for clearance of their dues. He said that instructions have been given to the officials regarding the payment of rights of JC Mill workers. Survey work of the land and assets of the mill has been done.

Yadav said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has highlighted the poor, women, youth and farmers as the four pillars of the country. The state government is working determinedly for their upliftment.

IT units will be promoted in Gwalior

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that there is immense potential in the field of IT (Information Technology) in Gwalior. To ensure that the IT expert youth here do not have to go out, units based on information technology will be specially promoted in Gwalior.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a series of regional Industry conclaves are being run to increase industrial investment in the state.

Regional Industry Conclaves have been organized in Ujjain, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Sagar, and Rewa. In this series, the Regional Conclave is going to be organized in the Narmadapuram division on 7th December and Shahdol in the month of January. He said that after the series of regional conclaves are held at the division level, the Global Investors Summit will be organized in the month of February. Entrepreneurs from all over the world are being invited for industrial investment in the state.

Yadav said that in this regard, he will soon visit Germany and UK to invite investors. He said that events like Industry Conclave have created an industry-friendly environment in the state, due to which industrial investment is taking place on a large scale.
