Bokaro BJP held a press conference at the residential office of MLA Biranchi Narayan, attended by prominent leaders and spokespersons of the party. National BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia, Himachal Pradesh BJP President Rajeev Bindal (a five-time MLA and former Health Minister), and Etala Rajender (a seven-time MLA from Telangana, the state’s first Finance Minister, and currently a Lok Sabha MP) were key figures at the event.
During the press conference, Gaurav Bhatia criticized Congress for its policies, claiming they favor infiltrators over the people of Jharkhand. He referred to Congress leader Ghulam Ahmed Mir’s statement in Bermo, which, according to Bhatia, reflected Congress’s "real policy" of prioritizing infiltrators. He alleged that Congress's promise to provide subsidized 450 LPG cylinders to all, including infiltrators, highlights this approach. Bhatia challenged Rahul Gandhi, currently in Bermo, to clarify Congress’s stance on this policy.
He further accused the ruling Jharkhand government of failing to deliver on its promises made in 2019, such as providing five lakh jobs, unemployment allowances, and timely pensions. He asserted that BJP’s policy reflects its commitment to fulfilling promises, unlike Congress, which he accused of misleading the public in states like Telangana, Himachal Pradesh, and Karnataka. Bhatia claimed that the State government has resorted to initiatives like the "Maiya Samman Yojana" as a last-minute attempt to regain public trust ahead of the elections.
Overall, the press conference showcased the BJP's critique of its political opponents, emphasizing governance failures and unfulfilled promises while reiterating its own commitment to delivering on its pledges. The leaders presented a unified front, expressing confidence in gaining public trust and securing victory in the upcoming elections on November 23.
