A freshers' party called "Harmony 2024" was organised at Rabindranath Tagore University. The event was inaugurated by Pro-Chancellor Aditi Chaturvedi Vats, Registrar Vijay Singh, and Pro-Vice Chancellor Sangeet Johri lit the ceremonial lamp.
Vats emphasised the importance of books in life and encouraged students to make reading a part of their daily routine. Vijay Singh welcomed the first-year students and introduced them to the university initiatives.
He spoke of the Atal Incubation Centre and the Daikin Centre, while stressing the importance of time management and discipline. The theme of the ramp walk was "Ethnic", with first-year students competing for the titles of Mr and Miss Fresher.
The event concluded with a performance by Srijan and The Band. Ritu Kumaran and Rashmi Khanna were judges for the students' competition. The event was organised under the guidance of DSW Ankit Pandit and Cultural Coordinator Jitendra Ahir, with valuable contributions from the Student Activity Council.
