Eyes of Sadhvi Dropati Dhanwani donated at Sewa Sadan

Sixty-six-year-old Sadhvi Dropati Dhanwani, resident of Sant Hirdaram Nagar, died on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. Late Sadhvi's brother Sushil Dhanwani has donated his sister's eyes to Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital.

The eyes of the deceased will now be transplanted to two needy visually impaired persons. Sewa Sadan has So far provided eyesight to 2116 visually impaired persons through free eye transplantation. Managing Trustee AC Sadhwani has paid homage to the departed soul and prayed for her peace. He also expressed gratitude to the family of departed soul.

Sadhwani said that Sadhvi Dropati was a retired bank employee. She taught the local residents of Sant Nagar to follow the path of service and remembrance. Sadhvi Dropati often in her sermons stressed the need to follow the teachings of Sri Sukhmani and Japuji Sahib in their lives and gain happiness, peace and spiritual knowledge. She ran her own Gurudwara in Sant Nagar where recitation of Gurbani and Akhand Langar continued round the clock.
