Excise department staff has seized 120 fake liquor bottles filled with cheap liquor and arrested 4 youths while a car and a scooter were also seized.
According to the officers, this liquor can also be fake. Therefore, the department is engaged in investigation.
Assistant Excise Commissioner Deepam Raichura said, on July 10, Hrithik Chaudhary resident Bijli Colony Govindpura was caught while transporting 12 bottles of English liquor in a white Activa near Chetak Bridge in MP Nagar. The seized liquor bottles were branded. Whose market price is up to 20 thousand rupees. When investigated, the liquor filled in it was not branded but cheap.
The Excise Department registered a case against Hrithik under Section 34(1)a of the MP Excise Act 1915 and interrogated him. In which he also revealed the names of his associates. On this basis, checking was done on New Subhash Nagar road. During this, a black car was stopped and searched. There were a total of 108 bottles of English liquor in 4 sacks and 1 bag in the trunk of the car.
In this case, a case was registered against the accused Gajendra father Tilak Singh Gurjar, Aryan father Parvat Singh Meena and Prashant father Darpan Singh under Section 34(1)a and Section 34(2) of the MP Excise Act 1915 and they were arrested.

The total cost of the vehicle and liquor is about Rs 8 lakh. Assistant District Excise Officer Amitabh Tripathi, Excise Controller RG Bhadoria and other staff took this action.
