Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed officials to ensure that all eligible persons get the benefits of the government welfare schemes.

He emphasised providing permanent housing under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, or Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana to those without homes and extending social pension benefits to everyone qualifying for such support.

Chief Minister Yogi issued these directives while addressing public grievances during the Janata Darshan held in front of the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan on Gorakhnath temple premises on Sunday.

The chief minister approached attendees seated on chairs, listened to their concerns one by one, and assured them of timely, transparent and satisfactory resolution of every issue.

The chief minister heard the problems of about 300 people, including several women, at the Janata Darshan. Among them, one woman raised concerns about housing.

In response, the chief minister promptly instructed officials to address her issue with sensitivity and ensure she is provided housing under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana or Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana, based on eligibility.

On complaints of land grabbing, the chief minister emphasised the need for strict legal action in such cases. He directed officials to take decisive measures in matters related to revenue and law enforcement.

Chief Minister Yogi asked the officials to prioritise public welfare initiatives and ensure the prompt resolution of every grievance.

He also assured those seeking financial assistance for medical treatment that no treatment would be discontinued due to a lack of funds. He directed the officials to prioritise the preparation of estimates and submit them to the government promptly, assuring that sufficient financial support would be provided for medical treatment.

During the Janata Darshan, Chief Minister Yogi warmly interacted with young children accompanying some women, affectionately handing out chocolates to them.
