Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, in the divisional review meeting of development works in Shahdol, has instructed the officials to ensure top-notch quality in the construction works being done under various schemes in the urban and rural areas of the state.
Commissioners and collectors should inspect the construction works regularly and ensure transparency in the work. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed that students should get better facilities in the hostels operated by the government. He said that along with public representatives, administrative officers should also inspect the hostels constantly and discuss with the students residing in the hostels. Chief Minister Yadav said that it is the duty of all of us to motivate the students to progress by providing better educational facilities to the students studying in hostels.
While reviewing the progress of construction of sports grounds in the meeting, Chief Minister Yadav said that sports grounds are being constructed in large numbers. The Chief Minister instructed the collectors to encourage the youth to engage in sports activities. In the meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed that the Collector should hold regular meetings with the public representatives, decide his priorities and get the public welfare works done in a better way.
In the meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that effective and result-oriented implementation of welfare schemes run by the government should be ensured. The Chief Minister also instructed the officials to bring innovations in this directon. In the meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also reviewed water resources, public works department, irrigation projects, power distribution system, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, and other schemes.
In the meeting Additional Chief Secretary Ashok Varnwal apprised about major schemes run in Shahdol division. Shahdol Divisional Commissioner Gopalchandra Daad gave information about the progress of Bharat Sankalp Yatra activities, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Amrit Sarovar Yojana and other schemes developed in the division.
